You have a balloon that is
filled with helium. You tie it up in your minivan or whatever you happen to
drive. You start to speed up forward. What way will the balloon travel? It appears
like it would be easy to be aware of the answer. When a vehicle accelerates,
the people and objects in the car are pushed backwards. This means that, in
this scenario, the balloon should move towards the back of the minivan (towards
where the children are sitting). Right?
